Enigma is a puzzle game inspired by Oxyd on the Atari ST and Rock'n'Roll on the Amiga. The object of the game is to find uncover pairs of identically colored Oxyd stones by controlling your marble. Simple? Yes. Easy? Certainly not! Hidden traps, vast mazes, laser beams, and, most of all, countless hairy puzzles usually block your direct way to the Oxyd stones …
This is an unofficial port of Enigma to the Android platform. It features a special touch-screen optimized UI and tilt sensor (accelerometer/gyroscope) control. Another port exists, called "enigma" by "Michi", but does not run on recent devices and does not feature the latest levels of Enigma 1.21.
During the game, press the back button for pause/menu, the menu button to cycle your inventory and tap the screen anywhere to use the leftmost object in your inventory.
The app will extract the required game data to the "app-data" directory on your SD card on first run, this will take some time but not cause any internet data transfer. You are free to delete this directory at any time to reset your configuration, and you may put your old Oxyd data files (MS-DOS versions) there if you want enigma to use them for loading Oxyd levels.
Copying: Enigma is free software and may be distributed and modified under the terms of the GNU GPL. On the project website http://www.nongnu.org/enigma/, you'll find ports for many operating systems as well as the original source code.
